Lage dukband med frynser

1. Lag frynsene etter renningen.

2. Klipp rett kant som mest mulig følger renningen – viktig.

3. Dra ut tråder til frynsene er 3 – 5 mm. Dra ikke ut for mange tråder av gangen.

4. Merk av klippelinje.  Bruk mal med rett bredde.  Kanten på malen skal ligge der frynsene begynner. Det ideelle er at klippelinjen følger en rennings tråd.

5. Klipp så nøyaktig som mulig og dra ut trådene både på dukbandet og duken man lager dukband av. Making fabric bands with fringes.

1. Make the fringes by removing treads from the warp.
2.  Cut a straight edge that follows the warp as precise as possible – important. 
3.  Pull out threads from the warp until the fringes are 3 – 5 mm long. Do not pull out too many threads at once. 
4. . Mark the cutting line. Use a template with the right width. The edge of the template should be where the fringe begins. Ideally, the cutting line should follow the threads of the warp.
5.  Cut as accurately as possible and pull out the threads on both the fabric band and the fabric you are making the fabric band from.
