Gunnar i aksjon.

The first four videos are taken through the plastic windows in the tent. We only have one fresh air mask available. That's why we couldn't have two people inside the tent at the same time.

The tent works incredibly well as a "doping box". Once the modifications were in place, it was easy to inflate. The “tunnels” are stiff enough to hold the structure up so that it stands by itself while the object to be doped is placed inside. It is assumed that the fan that provides the overpressure is running.

The video shows the rear fuselage placed in the tent for preparation for doping. Some of the fabric strips that make the reinforcements are still missing. They need to be put in place and secured with dope. When the dope on the reinforcements is dry, the entire structure gets a couple of coats of clear dope so that the fabric is tightened. When this coat is dry, the whole object is lightly sanded with fine emery paper so that the bristles that have risen are gone and the surfaces are smooth.

In the last video, Per Stoltenberg removes the bristles on one of the middle sections. When that's done, the section is ready for a layer with colored dope.
