6. juni 2023: Rotorhode

Rotorhodet ser nytt ut.

Girkassen har vært brukt men framstår som nesten ny.

Vi har i egne rekker en mekaniker som nylig har blitt pensjonist, og som har jobbet på Seaking redningshelikopter.

I tillegg har vi vært i kontakt med en pensjonert Lynx mekaniker som bor i nærheten. Han har lovet oss assistanse underveis i arbeidet.

Nå skal vi få tak i manualene som ligger på et lurt sted.

The rotor head looks like new.

The gearbox has been used but appears almost as new. Nevertheless, a crack was found during an inspection.

We have in our own ranks a mechanic who has just retired, and has worked on the Seaking SAR helicopters.

In addition, we have been in contact with two retired Lynx mechanics. One of them lives nearby. They have both promised to assist during the work.

Now we are going to retrieve the manuals that are stored in a "secret" place.
